Who can attend STEM Camp EDU?

Any K-12 educator interested in STEM Education. We value the “Arts” in (STEAM) and will provide opportunities for the arts at STEM Camp, however, the emphasis of this event will be heavily emphasized on STEM. There will be plenty of learning for everyone!

Where is STEM Camp EDU?

Who should attend?

STEM Camp was designed for K-12 teachers interested in learning about STEM and integrating it into classroom learning. We encourage all levels of interest and experience in STEM, particularly the beginner to intermediate levels.

What makes STEM Camp EDU different that other PD events?

While many PD opportunities are presentation led, we use the hands-on, lead learner model. This model engages the attendees on the stage of learning while coached by our facilitators. We believe in having fun while learning. If you like to sit and listen to someone talk at you for the entire day, STEM Camp Edu is probably not for you!

Credit versus non-credit: What's the difference?

STEM Camp Edu provides 3 graduate credits through the Univeristy of North Dakota. All hours of attendance (30 total) will count towards hours of completion in the grad course. An additional 15 hours of online work will be offered before and after the event for those who choose the 3 credit track. Many of our attendees choose this option! Want to know more? Check out this Graphic!

How many years has STEM Camp EDU been around?

This will be our fifth year running the event. We started at Kutztown University for the first two years and this is our third straight year at the Corbett Experience Center.
